Born and raised in Puerto Rico, founders Mia Rodriguez and Natalia Ortiz want to create a safe space and environment for Latin and Hispanic voices and talent, both at Syracuse University and beyond campus limits. Our mission is to give Latinx and Hispanic voices on campus an outlet where they’ll be able to express themselves, keep in touch and/or write about events and situations going on at home as well as their experiences abroad.

Since they graduated in 2024, DelSol continues to thrive as the only Latinx student-run publication at Syracuse University.
